(Eg) The skunk is one of the most abominable species.

(19) ABORTIVE - UNSUCCESSFUL, FUTILE.
(Eg) A leak in the rocket forced NASA to abort the mission.


(20) ABRASIVE - RUBBING AWAY.

(Eg) Rough surfaces are abrasive in nature.
